An Air Canada passenger who deliberately took only a carry-on to avoid luggage chaos says she was made to check the bag anyway, only for it to go missing

An Air Canada passenger who not too long ago misplaced baggage mentioned she intentionally packed a carry-on bag to keep away from the journey disruption consuming the airline trade, however was later made to test the bag which was then misplaced.

Emily Maitino — who traveled along with her accomplice from LAX to Barcelona through Air Canada on June 29 — informed Insider that she was made to test the bag in in LA after being informed there was no extra room for carry-ons.
