Australian graduates heading into the technology sector are setting themselves up for a massive payday, new analysis has found.
Companies including the likes of Amazon, Google and Canva are paying salaries of up to $350,000 for new graduates.
Some of those salaries, the research found, include stock options and end-of-year bonuses.

The data, reported in The Australian, found that four of the highest-paying graduate jobs were for software engineers at financial institutions.
The most lucrative salary was a $350,000-a-year role at Jane Street Capital.
The next highest was at IMC, paying $260,000, followed by Optiver at $250,000.
Tech giants, including Google and Amazon, also landed in the 10 highest-paying at $200,000 and $153,000 annually.
In further good news for students, job listings in the tech industry are rising month on month.
Employment marketplace SEEK earlier released its monthly job ad figures, showing an increase in Information and Communications Technology jobs in every Australian jurisdiction besides Tasmania.
Nationally, the research found there were 2.6 per cent more job listings in the sector in April in March.
Industry advocates are also calling for more people to consider tech jobs.
A report by the Tech Council of Australia said there were “unique opportunities” in the sector.
“Unfortunately, there is still a stigma surrounding working in the tech space. We want to change the perception of what a tech job is,” CEO Kate Pounder said.
“Our research shows that tech jobs are some of the most flexible, employees in tech-specific companies are 1.5 to 2 times more likely to work remotely than tech employees working in non-tech specific companies.”
